What is Endodontics?

What is endodontics?

Endodontic treatment eliminates decay and provides reinforcement of a tooth . Endodontic treatment is necessary when the pulp becomes inflamed or infected. The infection can have a variety of reasons: deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, faulty crowns, or a crack or chip in the tooth. In addition, trauma to a tooth may cause pulp damage even if the tooth has no visible chips or cracks. If pulp inflammation or infection is left untreated, it can cause pain or lead to an abscess.

Our services

As tooth pulp decays the pain can become extreme and there is primarily only one way to save the tooth, through a root canal.

Our specialty utilizes root canal treatment, and root canal surgeries to help get your teeth back to health. Our goal is making sure that our treatment is performed in a manner that’s as pain free as possible!

Specialty practices such as ours receive patients who have been “referred” from general dentists and other specialists for root canal treatment. Our patients are not only you but also our dental and medical colleagues who referred you to us.

Just leaving office now. Great experience. Staff is warm and welcoming. Dr. Thomas explained in detail to me what was wrong with my tooth. He was knowledgeable and honest with his diagnosis. I highly recommend coming here for any of your dental needs.
